Meet the Conditions to Apply
To qualify for this scholarship, you must:
Be a national of Uganda, a refugee, a person with a disability, displaced, or from another African country
Have applied for admission at Makerere University main campus under private sponsorship for the 2025–2026 session
Have one of the following:
Finished advanced secondary school or its match in an African country
Hold a diploma with second class or credit from a known school
Passed Makerere University’s mature age test
Be facing money hardship
Not hold any other scholarship, including Uganda Government support
Not have finished any undergraduate course
Show signs of leadership or service to community
Be 28 years old or below on the application deadline
If a refugee or a person with a disability, be 32 years old or below by the deadline
